About catholic education in NSW
St Joseph's is part of the Bathurst Diocese system of schools. This system of schools is supported by the Catholic Education Office, Bathurst with offices in Bathurst and Dubbo. More than 9000 students and 34 schools make up the Bathurst Diocese system of schools.
The Catholic Education Office, Bathurst is joined by the Catholic Education Commission, NSW to support and service catholic schools in the Bathurst Diocese. While each of these bodies has its own specific role and function, they complement each other in striving to preserve and strengthen an effective Catholic Education System.
